Former FC Porto striker Bruno Moraes has expressed strong confidence in Nigerian international Terem Moffi, predicting that the Super Eagles forward will soon regain his goal-scoring form.
Moffi joined Porto on loan from OGC Nice for the remainder of the season, with an option for a permanent transfer, and has appeared twice in league matches, both times as a substitute.
Moraes emphasized that adapting to a new club and tactical system can take time. “I believe the goals will come back,” he said, highlighting that Moffi, along with teammates like Deniz Gul, needs time to adjust fully to Porto’s style of play.
“Sometimes it happens quickly, other times it takes longer,” Moraes added, underlining the importance of patience.
The former Porto striker also noted that early integration is carefully managed by the coaching staff, who have deliberately limited Moffi’s minutes to ease him back into competitive football after a period away from regular matches.
Moraes explained that building chemistry with teammates is essential for attacking players, and Moffi’s quality will naturally translate into goals once he finds his rhythm.
Porto’s tactical approach has evolved this season from an aggressive attacking style to a more balanced system that combines offensive ambition with defensive stability.
Moraes believes that managing results and maintaining consistency are crucial as new players like Moffi adapt to the team.
Fans can expect Moffi to make a significant impact in the coming weeks as he continues to integrate into Porto’s squad.
Moraes’ message is clear: give the talented forward time, and his goal-scoring ability will shine, reinforcing Porto’s attacking strength for the remainder of the season.
