Chinedu Anyaso Declares 2027 Bid for Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Seat

National News – Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Enugu Depot Community, has officially declared his intention to run for the Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency seat in Anambra State.

The seasoned IPMAN leader made the announcement at his residence in Ekwulummili community, Nnewi South Local Government Area, in the presence of party leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Anyaso, a two-term leader of petroleum marketers across Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and parts of Abia, Imo, Kogi, and Benue states, said his decision is driven by a commitment to provide effective representation at the National Assembly.

He emphasized his goal to complement the achievements of the APGA-led government in Anambra under Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, particularly in areas of trade, commerce, industrialization, agriculture, and ecological challenges.

During the announcement, Anyaso highlighted his intention to act as a strong voice for constituents, promising to support federal initiatives that can unlock the full potential of the Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.

“I am ready to serve and represent my constituency effectively in the National Assembly while assisting Governor Soludo to address pressing developmental and ecological challenges,” he stated.

Speaking in support of Anyaso, APGA Ekwulummili Ward Chairman, Cosmas Ezeani, described him as a vital pillar of the party in the community.

Similarly, Chief Akai Egwuonwu, an APGA chieftain and senatorial aspirant, praised Anyaso as a goal-driven and qualified candidate.

Chief Nwankwo Onyekwere, representing IPMAN members, reiterated the union’s solidarity with Anyaso, acknowledging his visionary leadership and impact on the petroleum marketing sector.

Anyaso’s declaration marks a strategic move for APGA to strengthen its presence in the National Assembly ahead of the 2027 elections.

His campaign is expected to focus on leveraging his extensive experience in trade and industrial matters to benefit the constituency.
