National News – Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has emotionally opened up about the heartbreaking loss of her sixth pregnancy, sharing a deeply personal story that has stirred empathy among fans and followers across social media.

The singer, whose real name is Judith Kanayo, disclosed the painful experience in a video posted on her Instagram page.

She recalled how the tragic moment unfolded in February 2025 when she was already more than three months pregnant.

What began as mild cramps and slight spotting soon escalated into heavy bleeding, a sign she immediately recognized as another miscarriage.

According to Judikay, the sudden development left her devastated because she understood what it meant.

She explained that the bleeding continued, confirming her fears that the pregnancy had ended.

It was the sixth time she had experienced such a painful loss.

She was later rushed to the hospital where doctors performed a Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedure after diagnosing what medical experts call a missed miscarriage.

The treatment was necessary to remove pregnancy tissue and prevent complications.

Despite publicly maintaining a strong faith-filled outlook, the gospel singer admitted that the emotional pain was overwhelming in private moments.

She revealed that after returning home from the hospital, she continued to struggle silently, often crying and questioning the difficult situation she was facing.

Her testimony has sparked a wave of compassion online, with many Nigerians expressing support and encouragement.

Several social media users noted that many people endure deep personal struggles quietly, while others reflected on the role of faith during challenging periods of life.

Judikay and her husband, Anselem Opara, previously welcomed their son, Joshua Opara, in March 2022.

The singer has since hinted that more details about her journey will be shared in future parts of what she calls “My Yeshua Story.”

Her revelation has resonated with many supporters who view her courage to share the painful experience as a source of hope for others facing similar struggles.
