National News – Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker and Super Eagles forward, has said his strong belief in hard work and determination would have made him financially successful even if football had never become his career path.

The prolific attacker, currently on loan at Galatasaray S.K., reflected on his difficult upbringing and the relentless hustle that shaped his mindset.

Speaking during a Twitch livestream with Nigerian comedian Carter Efe, Osimhen explained that the discipline he developed in his early years convinced him that success was inevitable.

According to the striker, he was always ready to wake up as early as 3 a.m. to work during his toughest days, driven by a desire to change his life.

The 25-year-old football star said his background taught him resilience and persistence.

He noted that during his early struggles, he was prepared to take on any legitimate job to survive.

That experience, he explained, built a level of confidence that still guides his career today.

Osimhen added that his belief in himself goes beyond football.

He said the same dedication and work ethic would have pushed him toward wealth and success in any profession he pursued.

The striker is currently in Nigeria recovering from a broken arm sustained during a match involving Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League against Liverpool F.C..

Despite the injury setback, he remains optimistic and grateful for the support he has received from his club and fans.

Osimhen also spoke warmly about his experience at Galatasaray, describing the Turkish side as more than just a football club.

According to him, the warmth and loyalty shown by the club’s supporters and staff made an immediate impression when he joined.

He explained that the strong bond between the team and its fans creates a unique atmosphere that many players may never experience throughout their careers.

The striker even joked that his daughter has developed a deeper affection for the club than he has.
