The Medical and Education CDS Group, Saki West Local Government Area (LGA), has announced the maiden edition of its Mathematics and General Knowledge Quiz Competition, designed to promote academic excellence and intellectual development among secondary school students in the area.

A total of 27 schools across Saki West LGA have registered to participate in the highly anticipated quiz contest.

The Preliminary Round will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, where 17 schools will be eliminated, and the Top 10 will advance to the Grand Finale scheduled for March 26, 2026.

According to the organizing team led by pharmacist Emomotimi AKAMU, the competition is not only a test of academic strength but also an opportunity to build confidence, enhance teamwork, and encourage healthy academic rivalry among students.

“This initiative goes beyond prizes and certificates; it’s about empowering students to believe in their potential and excel academically,” Akamu stated.

The event, which promises to be intellectually engaging, aims to foster a culture of learning and curiosity among young minds in Saki West.

As the countdown begins, excitement is already building among participating schools, teachers, and students who are eager to showcase their brilliance in what has been tagged “The Battle of Brains.”
