Nyesom Wike Visits Polling Units in Abuja During FCT Area Council Elections

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Saturday toured several polling units across the Abuja Municipal Area Council as residents cast their votes in the ongoing FCT Area Council elections.

The visit formed part of efforts to monitor the electoral process and ensure a peaceful and credible exercise in Nigeria’s capital. The FCT Minister assessed voter turnout, accreditation procedures and the general conduct of the polls, emphasising the importance of orderliness and transparency throughout the exercise.
