National News – Fifteen players of the Nigerian Super Eagles have officially arrived at their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan.

The camp opened on Tuesday, with coaches and officials arriving earlier to finalize logistics and ensure facilities were ready for the squad.

An advance delegation, including assistant coaches Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu, along with medical staff and the kit manager, traveled from Nigeria on Monday to prepare for the team’s arrival.

The early arrivals to the camp include midfielders Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, and Frank Onyeka; defenders Emmanuel Fernandez, Semi Ajayi, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Bright Osayi-Samuel; forwards Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Philip Otele, and Collins Yira Sor; and goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Adebayo Adeleye.

Key squad members yet to report include goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defenders Calvin Bassey, Zaidu Sanusi, and Igoh Ogbu, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika, as well as forwards Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke, and Akor Adams.

The team’s first training session is scheduled today at 4pm local time (2pm Nigerian time) at Bellis Deluxe Hotel, Antalya, which will serve as the base for both friendlies.

Nigeria will face Iran on Friday at 4pm Nigerian time and Jordan on Tuesday, March 31, at 8pm Nigerian time.

Both matches were relocated from Amman, Jordan, due to security concerns and regional military tensions.

Head coach Eric Chelle had named a 23-man squad last Wednesday, notably missing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, Nottingham Forest full-back Ola Aina, and first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

Media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that all arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth camp and successful preparation for the friendlies.

The Super Eagles aim to sharpen team coordination, test tactical strategies, and give emerging players international exposure ahead of upcoming tournaments.
