National News – Chelsea Football Club has confirmed plans to visit Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in its history this May as part of its global fan engagement programme, The Famous CFC.

The Premier League club, aiming to strengthen ties with its international supporters, will host the penultimate event of the 2025/26 season in the Nigerian city, organized in collaboration with MSport, Chelsea’s official betting partner in Africa.

The Lagos visit will feature a weekend of fan-focused activities, including a live watch party, a question-and-answer session with former Chelsea and Super Eagles forward Victor Moses, and opportunities for supporters to win signed club merchandise.

Moses, a key figure in Chelsea’s 2016/17 Premier League triumph and a former Nigerian international, remains highly popular among fans worldwide.

The event also marks the fifth stop in Chelsea’s international fan programme this season, highlighting the club’s commitment to connecting with supporters globally.

During the engagement, Chelsea fans will have a unique chance to interact with Moses and participate in exclusive activities designed to celebrate the club’s Nigerian fan base.

The programme aims to unite supporters through shared experiences and direct engagement, reflecting Chelsea’s strategy of expanding its presence across Africa.

Fans can expect a lively and memorable weekend of football celebrations as the 2025/26 season approaches its conclusion.
