National News – Damilola Oni has revealed troubling experiences with online harassment, saying many male fans regularly send her explicit messages and inappropriate photos on social media.

The Nollywood actress disclosed this during an interview published on Oyinmomo TV on Saturday, April 5, 2026, where she opened up about the challenges she faces in the entertainment industry and how online attention often crosses the line into harassment.

Nigerian actress Damilola Oni said male followers frequently send explicit images and disturbing messages to her Instagram account, often sexualising her because of her body shape.

According to the actress, the harassment typically happens on social media platforms where fans interact with celebrities directly.

She explained that many of the messages arrive early in the morning and include comments from strangers claiming she is everything they need romantically.

Some individuals, she added, go further by admitting that they watch her television appearances and engage in inappropriate personal acts while viewing her content.

Oni said the repeated incidents have become a disturbing routine that reflects the darker side of celebrity life online.

Oni also shared another challenge from her acting career, recounting how she once waited more than eight hours on a movie set only to be told she could not play the lead role because a colleague refused to work with her.

The producer later offered her a smaller role, which she accepted despite feeling disappointed.

Despite the setbacks and harassment, the actress said she remains determined to succeed in Nollywood and will not allow anyone to push her out of the industry.
