National News – Prosecutors in Los Angeles, California, have accused R&B singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, of murdering a 14-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, and dismembering her body using chainsaws allegedly purchased online.

The incident, which authorities say occurred in April 2025 at the singer’s residence in the Hollywood Hills, has shocked the entertainment industry and the public.

According to court documents presented during his arraignment on April 20, 2026, Burke allegedly killed the teenager after she threatened to expose their illegal sexual relationship, which reportedly began when she was 13.

Prosecutors claim that shortly after arriving at his home, the victim was stabbed multiple times and left to die.

Investigators revealed that Burke later dismembered the body in his garage using tools he had ordered, including chainsaws and a plastic pool to contain blood.

The remains were reportedly placed in bags and left inside the trunk of his Tesla vehicle for weeks or possibly months while he continued his music tour across the United States.

The case came to light when the abandoned vehicle was towed to a yard, where authorities noticed a foul smell.

Detectives discovered the decomposed remains just days before the victim’s 15th birthday.

Further allegations state that the suspect attempted to conceal the victim’s identity by removing identifiable features, including fingers bearing a tattoo.

Burke, 21, has denied all charges, including first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a minor, and unlawful mutilation of human remains.

If convicted, he could face life imprisonment or the death penalty.

His next court hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2026, as prosecutors prepare to present additional evidence, including text messages and digital records.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as they seek to establish a full timeline and recover missing body parts.
