National News – Nigerian socialite Emeka Okonkwo has rewarded comedian Carter Efe with ₦50 million after his decisive victory over street-hop singer Habeeb Badmus in a celebrity boxing bout held on Friday night in Lagos.

The fight, staged at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, drew significant attention following weeks of online rivalry between the two entertainers.

The match, part of the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event organised by Balmoral Group Promotions, saw Carter Efe dominate from the opening round.

Judges unanimously scored the bout 30-27 in his favour, confirming his win.

E-Money, who had publicly promised the cash reward before the fight, fulfilled his pledge immediately after the result was announced, praising Efe’s performance and consistency in the ring.

Event promoter Ezekiel Adamu described the night as a success, highlighting the entertainment value and competitive spirit displayed by the fighters.

The bout marked the climax of a heated verbal exchange between both celebrities, with Portable previously boasting of victories over other public figures in similar exhibition matches.

Beyond the main event, the night also featured title fights, including Godday Appah’s win to claim the WBO Africa cruiserweight title and Basit Adebayo’s triumph in another championship contest.

However, it was Carter Efe’s victory—and the ₦50 million reward—that became the highlight, reinforcing the growing popularity of celebrity boxing in Nigeria.
