National News – Over 30,000 music lovers gathered on Sunday at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos, for the Mainland Block Party, a vibrant May Day celebration featuring top Afrobeats artistes.

The event, held on May 1 weekend, attracted fans from across Lagos and neighbouring areas, highlighting the growing popularity of live music concerts among Nigerian youths.

Headliner Seyi Vibez delivered a standout performance, thrilling the massive crowd with his hit songs and high-energy stage presence.

Fans sang along, danced, and cheered throughout his set, making his appearance the highlight of the night.

Other performers, including Small Doctor, Shoday, Muyeez, Kayode, and Boy Muller, also energized the audience with engaging performances that sustained the excitement.

The Mainland Block Party was organised to celebrate Workers’ Day through music and entertainment, providing a platform for both established and emerging Afrobeats acts.
