National News – La Liga giants Real Madrid secured a narrow 1-0 away victory against Sevilla FC on Sunday, but the result was not enough to save their disappointing season.

The match took place in Andalusia, Spain, with Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior scoring the decisive goal.
The encounter also featured French superstar Kylian Mbappe, who returned to the starting line-up after recent comments about his role under coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Mbappe provided the assist for Vinicius’ first-half strike after controlling a cross before the Brazilian fired home.
Madrid continued to dominate the game, but Mbappe missed several chances, including an effort ruled out for offside.
Arbeloa praised his players after the game despite admitting the club failed to meet expectations this season.
Real Madrid are now set to finish without a major trophy for the second consecutive year, increasing pressure on the squad ahead of the next campaign.
Elsewhere, Levante UD boosted their survival hopes with a vital 2-0 victory over RCD Mallorca.
The defeat pushed Mallorca deeper into relegation trouble, leaving them 19th on the table. Girona also remain in danger after losing 1-0 to Atletico Madrid.
At Atletico’s Metropolitano Stadium, veteran forward Antoine Griezmann played his final home match before a move to Major League Soccer side Orlando City.
Griezmann marked his 500th appearance for Atletico by assisting Ademola Lookman’s winning goal in an emotional farewell performance.
