Ajibade Eyes First PSG Trophy After Coupe LFFP Final Heroics

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is targeting her first silverware with Paris Saint-Germain Women after playing a decisive role in their dominant Coupe LFFP semi-final victory.

The Nigerian forward found the net as PSG secured a commanding 3–0 win over city rivals Paris FC Women on Saturday, sealing their place in the final.

Ajibade on Target as PSG Cruise Past Paris FC

After a goalless first half, in-form striker Romée Leuchter broke the deadlock in the 47th minute to hand PSG the advantage. Just before the hour mark, Merveille Kanjinga doubled the lead to put the Parisians firmly in control.

Ajibade then wrapped up the emphatic win with her first goal since October, calmly converting a cut-back inside the box to cap a polished team performance.

The victory marked PSG’s second 3–0 triumph over Paris FC in the space of a week, underlining their dominance in the derby.

Reacting to the win, Ajibade reposted a celebratory message from the club with a confident caption: “On to the final.”

PSG Set for Blockbuster Final Against Lyon

PSG will now face arch-rivals Olympique Lyonnais Féminin in the Coupe LFFP final on March 14. Lyon booked their place with a resounding 4–0 victory over Dijon FCO Women in the other semi-final.

The highly anticipated showdown presents Ajibade with a golden opportunity to claim her first trophy since joining the French giants last summer.

Ajibade’s Comeback and Growing Influence
Ajibade returned to action in January after being sidelined since November due to injury. Despite the setback, she has made 10 appearances this season — nine in the league and one in the cup — contributing one goal and one assist.

With her confidence growing and a major final on the horizon, the Super Falcons star will be eager to make history and lift her first title in Paris.
