Dikko Radda has carried out a cabinet reshuffle, nominating two new commissioner-designates and appointing key officials as part of efforts to strengthen governance in Katsina State.

The governor forwarded the names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.

Their appointments are expected to reinforce the administration’s policy direction and improve service delivery across ministries.

The announcement was made in an official statement released by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, who said the changes were part of ongoing efforts to enhance government performance and accelerate development initiatives across the state.

New Agency Leadership Appointment

As part of the cabinet reshuffle, Governor Radda also approved the appointment of Suleiman Namadi as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.

The agency plays a critical role in addressing environmental challenges, including erosion control, water management, and sustainable land use in Katsina.

Officials believe the new leadership will strengthen environmental protection strategies and improve infrastructure resilience in vulnerable communities.

The governor further appointed Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma, and Alhaji Muddasir Mati as Senior Special Assistants to support government operations and policy implementation.

In addition, Alhaji Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur were named Special Assistants, expanding the team responsible for advising the governor and coordinating government programmes.
