National News – Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is set to headline an exclusive women-only retreat in Sydney next month, with ticket prices starting at A$2,699 (£1,400) per person.

The three-day event promises a “girls’ weekend like no other” and will feature Meghan as the special guest speaker.

Attendees will have the chance to enjoy a VIP gala dinner, front-row seating, and a group photo opportunity with the duchess.

This marks seven years since Meghan and Prince Harry first visited Australia as senior members of the Royal Family.

The Sydney retreat, limited to 300 participants, is organized by the Her Best Life podcast, founded by Gemma O’Neill and Australian media personality Jackie “O” Henderson.

O’Neill, a former producer for actress Nicole Kidman, confirmed Meghan’s participation in a recent podcast episode.

She described the event as a platform for women seeking personal growth and empowerment, with a “fireside chat” format for Meghan’s Q&A session.

Activities will include expert talks, yoga, sound healing, meditation, manifestation workshops, and even a disco at a five-star hotel located at Coogee Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

VIP tickets cost around A$3,200 (£1,700) per person.

This retreat comes shortly after Meghan and Prince Harry ended their high-profile partnership with streaming platform Netflix.

The couple, who signed a $100m (£75m) deal in 2020, had launched the lifestyle and cookery show With Love, Meghan, which ran for two series and a Christmas special but struggled to attract large audiences.

The upcoming visit to Australia is described by their representatives as a mix of private, business, and philanthropic engagements.

Since their last major Australian tour in 2018, much has changed.

Their 16-day royal visit included highlights like Bondi Beach, Sydney Harbour sightseeing, and Prince Harry climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

In 2020, the couple stepped back as senior royals and relocated to the United States amid intense media scrutiny and allegations of racism.

This event positions Meghan as a leading figure in women’s empowerment and lifestyle initiatives, combining high-profile public appearances with exclusive, intimate gatherings.
