National News – A legal practitioner and philanthropist, Prince Chukwudi Oli, has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency in Anambra State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The 45-year-old lawyer announced his ambition on Saturday during an interactive session with journalists at his country home in Nri, located in Anaocha Local Government Area.

Running under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Oli said his decision was driven by a desire to provide quality representation and strengthen the voice of his constituency at the National Assembly.

Oli described himself as a grassroots politician committed to community empowerment, legal advocacy, and people-focused leadership.

According to him, the constituency has experienced years of underrepresentation in federal politics, prompting him to step forward and pursue a legislative agenda focused on accountability, transparency, and development.

He stated that his goal is to introduce laws and initiatives that will improve the lives of residents in Anaocha, Dunukofia, and Njikoka.

Oli noted that the announcement was made in his hometown of Nri as part of efforts to formally inform constituents and party members about his plans for the upcoming election cycle.

He emphasized that if elected, he would maintain constant engagement with constituents through regular town hall meetings and community consultations to ensure effective representation.

The lawyer pointed to his more than two decades of professional experience in the private sector and multinational corporations, which he believes has equipped him with the competence and credibility needed to serve in the House of Representatives.

He also pledged prudent management of constituency resources and promised to attract federal opportunities that would benefit local communities.

Oli further praised the leadership of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, citing improvements in security, infrastructure, education, information technology, and youth empowerment under his administration.

He added that his legislative agenda would complement ongoing development efforts while ensuring fairness, justice, and equity for the people of the constituency.
