National News – Thousands of music lovers gathered in Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 10, 2026, as the globally renowned event kicked off in Indio, California.

The festival opened with American pop star Sabrina Carpenter headlining the first night, delivering what she described as the most ambitious show of her career.

The annual festival, known for launching the U.S. music season, will run across two consecutive weekends, featuring diverse performances across multiple stages.

The opening day featured a mix of rising and established acts, including Teddy Swims, KATSEYE, and Moby.

Italian DJ Anyma closed the night with the debut of his immersive audiovisual production “ÆDEN,” marking a key highlight of the event and setting the tone for a global tour.

The night will also showcase international talents such as Armin van Buuren, Adam Beyer, Taemin, and PinkPantheress, reflecting the festival’s genre diversity.

On Sunday, Colombian reggaeton star Karol G will headline, becoming one of the major highlights of the weekend.

Other performers include BIGBANG, Iggy Pop, Fatboy Slim, and FKA twigs.

The festival will conclude with a special screening of Euphoria season three premiere, drawing fans from both music and television audiences.

Coachella 2026 highlights global music culture by blending pop, electronic, rock, and K-pop acts, offering fans both live and streamed access via YouTube, ensuring worldwide participation.
