National News – Canadian rap superstar Drake has shattered Spotify streaming records after releasing three albums simultaneously on May 15, 2026.

The projects titled Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour contain a combined 43 tracks and have sparked massive reactions across the global music industry.

The historic release pushed Drake to become Spotify’s most-streamed artist in a single day in 2026.

Spotify confirmed that Iceman became the most-streamed album in a single day this year, while the lead single “Make Them Cry” also set a new record as the platform’s most-streamed song within 24 hours.

Reports showed the album attracted about 140 million streams during its first full day, making it one of the biggest debuts of the year.

The albums feature collaborations with top music stars including Future, 21 Savage, and Sexyy Red.

Fans flooded social media with reactions, memes, and streaming statistics shortly after the release, while discussions online suggested the huge demand briefly affected streaming services.

The buzz expanded beyond music after the official White House social media account shared Drake’s “Iceman” cover image with the caption “ICED OUT,” drawing widespread engagement online.

Sports-related accounts, including pages linked to the New York Giants, also joined the trend by promoting the rollout.

Drake’s latest success has renewed comparisons with late pop icon Michael Jackson.

The rapper recently surpassed Jackson’s record for the most albums spending over a decade on the Billboard 200 chart.

His albums Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Views have each remained on the chart for more than 520 weeks.

Industry analysts believe the triple-album release could dominate upcoming Billboard rankings and further strengthen Drake’s influence in the global streaming era.
