National News – Alex Iwobi has vowed that Fulham FC will continue to fight until the end of the 2025-2026 season despite recent setbacks.
The Nigerian midfielder admitted that the London-based club has struggled for consistency but insisted that the squad remains committed to finishing the campaign strongly.
Fulham currently sits in tenth place in the Premier League, having lost four of their last six league games since February, including a recent FA Cup exit against Southampton FC.
Iwobi, however, has shone individually, scoring twice and assisting once in his last three league appearances.
Speaking on his YouTube vlog, he emphasized the importance of staying positive and maintaining team morale.
“Results haven’t gone our way, but we’ll keep our heads up and keep fighting.
We’ll give 100 percent until the season is done,” he said.
Fulham’s upcoming fixtures, including clashes with Nottingham Forest and Burnley, will test the squad’s resolve, particularly with Nigerian defender Ola Aina also featuring for Nottingham Forest.
Iwobi highlighted his growing YouTube presence, sharing behind-the-scenes content to connect with fans.
“My managers encourage this as long as I perform on the pitch,” he explained.
He added that Eric Chelle supports the content, seeing it as a way to show players’ personalities beyond matchdays.
Iwobi believes this connection with supporters strengthens the club’s fan engagement while keeping professional commitments as his top priority.
Fulham’s determination to rebound underlines a broader message of resilience and positivity in sports, with Iwobi at the forefront of both performance and outreach.
The midfielder’s balance between social media presence and on-field focus offers a model for modern footballers navigating the evolving demands of fan engagement and professional excellence.
