Nigeria midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is targeting a Coppa Italia triumph this season as he looks to help S.S. Lazio rebound from a challenging campaign affected by injuries and international duty.

The 25-year-old midfielder recently scored his first goal of the season in Lazio’s 2-2 Coppa Italia draw against Atalanta BC, providing a boost to his confidence and the team’s ambitions.

Speaking after the match, Dele-Bashiru highlighted Lazio’s primary goal: securing the Coppa Italia to guarantee a spot in next season’s UEFA Europa League while ending the season on a high.

“Winning the Coppa Italia is crucial for the team and our fans. It would cap a difficult year positively and ensure Europa League qualification for next season,” he said.
