National News – The Pussycat Dolls have officially confirmed a long-awaited reunion, announcing a brand-new single and a global tour that will mark their return to the international music stage after more than a decade.
The group will reunite as a trio, featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, who say the comeback is a celebration of their journey, growth and empowerment as women more than 20 years after the group first rose to fame.
The trio have already released a new track titled “Club Song”, which will serve as the first taste of their comeback era.
Alongside the single, the singers unveiled plans for the PCD Forever World Tour, a 53-date international run set to begin in North America in June before moving to Europe later in the year.
The European leg will include several shows across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with performances scheduled in cities such as Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester.
The tour will conclude with a major final performance at London’s O2 Arena on October 13.
The reunion comes after an earlier comeback attempt in 2019 collapsed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a legal dispute involving the group’s founder.
That dispute was eventually resolved through a confidential settlement, clearing the path for the trio’s long-planned return.
Originally formed as a burlesque dance troupe in the mid-1990s before evolving into a pop girl group, the Pussycat Dolls became global chart stars in the 2000s.
Their debut album produced multiple hits including “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons,” and “Stickwitu,” while later releases delivered fan favourites such as “When I Grow Up” and “Jai Ho!”
While the original lineup once included six members, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton will not participate in the current reunion.
Scherzinger, who recently gained critical acclaim for her award-winning stage performance in Sunset Boulevard, said returning to the group felt like the perfect next chapter after years focused on theatre.
Wyatt added that the reunion reflects a new phase for the group, combining their past legacy with a modern perspective.
The trio say they hope to reconnect with longtime fans while also introducing their music and performances to a new generation.
