National News – Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux have celebrated their first wedding anniversary, marking one year since their widely publicised union.

The couple shared emotional moments on April 19, 2026, via Instagram, reflecting on their journey since tying the knot in 2025.

Their anniversary comes exactly 365 days after their traditional and white wedding ceremonies held across Nigeria and Tanzania.

Priscilla, who is also known as Priscy, posted a photo in her white wedding dress designed by celebrity stylist Veekee James, alongside her husband, describing their marriage as “one year stronger.”

Earlier, she had shared a video from their traditional wedding, highlighting their cultural celebration and commitment.

The event originally took place in Lagos, where family, friends, and top entertainment figures gathered.

Their relationship began after the pair met during a trip to Rwanda, where a casual introduction gradually developed into a romantic connection.

Reports indicate that Jux initially did not recognise Priscilla’s celebrity background.

With time, their bond grew stronger through communication and shared experiences, eventually becoming public and widely followed by fans in both Nigeria and Tanzania.

The couple’s wedding, tagged #JP2025, became a major cross-cultural celebration, blending Nigerian and East African traditions.

The ceremonies included a Lagos-based traditional engagement, a glamorous white wedding, and additional celebrations hosted in Tanzania by Jux’s family.

Influencer Chioma Goodhair was also noted to have played a role in their early connection.

Since their marriage, Priscilla and Jux have continued to share milestones, travels, and personal moments online, strengthening their presence in the entertainment space.

Their union has also contributed to deeper cultural ties between both countries, with Jux gaining increased visibility in Nigeria’s music and social scene.
