National News – American rapper Offset has been hospitalised after he was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida on Monday.

The incident occurred in the casino’s valet area, where the rapper reportedly sustained injuries during the shooting.

Authorities say the injuries were not life-threatening, and the rapper is currently in stable condition while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly attacked outside the casino hotel in Hollywood, Florida.

According to police authorities, the shooting happened late Monday when gunfire erupted near the valet section of the entertainment complex.

Emergency responders quickly transported the musician to a hospital, where medical personnel are closely monitoring his recovery.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that two individuals were detained shortly after the shooting.

Investigators are currently examining the circumstances that led to the incident, including what may have triggered the gunfire and whether the suspects were directly involved.

Police also assured the public that the situation is under control and that the area remains safe for visitors and staff.

Offset is widely known for being a member of the influential hip-hop group Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff.

The group rose to global fame with chart-topping hits and a distinctive rap style that shaped modern trap music.

The shooting incident has also revived memories of the tragic death of Takeoff in 2022, when the rapper was fatally shot outside a bowling alley in Houston during a dice game attended by Quavo.

Fans across social media have expressed concern for Offset following the latest incident.
Offset was previously married to Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B.

The couple secretly married in 2017 and share three children, though their relationship ended in 2024 after Cardi B filed for divorce.

Authorities say investigations into the Florida casino shooting are ongoing as police work to determine the motive and confirm the roles of those detained.
