National News – Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has announced key appointments into the Directorates of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), a political communication structure aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The move is aimed at strengthening nationwide mobilisation, information dissemination, and strategic engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement includes notable figures such as Sunday Dare, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Olisa Metuh, and others assigned to various strategic portfolios.
The appointments were disclosed in a statement signed by RHA Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, on Friday, April 18, 2026.
Key appointees include Sunday Dare (Digital and New Media), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora), Olisa Metuh (Organisation and Mobilisation), Muiz Banire (Legal and Compliance), Bisoye Coker-Odusote (Technology and Data), and Mele Geidam (Finance).
Others include Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), Hadiza Bala-Usman (Research and Innovation), and Tunde Rahman (Media and Publicity).
The structure also features deputy leadership roles occupied by governors and federal lawmakers to enhance coordination and political reach.
According to political observers, the appointments signal an intensified effort to unify communication channels within the ruling party’s campaign machinery and expand its digital and grassroots influence across Nigeria and the diaspora.
This development comes amid growing political preparations by various parties ahead of the 2027 elections, with emphasis on media visibility, voter engagement, and policy communication.
The RHA is expected to serve as a nationwide communication platform projecting government policies and strengthening engagement with citizens.
Analysts also suggest that the RHA will play a key role in shaping public perception, countering misinformation, and coordinating messaging across traditional and digital platforms nationwide.
Further updates are expected as implementation begins across states.
