National News – Canadian rapper Drake has made UK music history after debuting three studio albums inside the top 10 of the Official UK Albums Chart at the same time.
The achievement came after the surprise release of Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour on May 15, 2026, giving fans far more music than expected.
Iceman entered the charts at number one, while Maid of Honour debuted at number six and Habibti secured the seventh position.
According to the Official Charts Company, Drake is now the first artist to achieve three simultaneous top-10 studio album debuts in the UK.
The milestone also marks his seventh UK number-one album and his 17th top-10 project overall.
The three albums contain 43 songs and feature collaborations with major artists including Central Cee, 21 Savage, and PARTYNEXTDOOR.
Shortly after release, the albums broke streaming records on Spotify, making Drake the platform’s most-streamed artist and album holder in a single day in 2026.
Music critics have offered mixed reactions to the releases.
While some reviewers praised Drake’s versatility across rap, R&B, and dance-inspired tracks, others argued the albums lacked consistency.
The rapper also reignited his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar through several lyrics, continuing a rivalry that intensified in 2024.
Despite dominating the album charts, Drake narrowly missed the top spot in the UK singles ranking, where Olivia Dean and Sam Fender maintained number one with Rein My In.
However, Drake still placed three tracks inside the top 10, increasing his career total to 50 top-10 songs in the UK.
