The Member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Fred Agbedi, has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development with the commencement of construction of a three-bedroom Alei Palace in the Aleibiri Federated Community of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
The historic project, sited on a difficult waterlogged terrain, is already recording steady progress — a feat that underscores Agbedi’s determination to deliver quality infrastructure despite environmental challenges.
When completed, the palace is expected to stand as a symbol of unity, cultural pride, and heritage for the Aleibiri people.
Agbedi, widely respected as a vocal and influential voice in the House of Representatives, has continued to distinguish himself through effective representation, legislative advocacy, and people-centered leadership.
His contributions in the Green Chamber reflect his consistent push for inclusive development and improved living conditions across Sagbama and Ekeremor.
Since assuming office, the lawmaker has sustained efforts to attract meaningful projects and federal attention to his constituency.
Beyond infrastructure, Agbedi’s developmental agenda also focuses on policies that enhance education, health, and economic empowerment for local communities.
The Alei Palace project marks another milestone in his ongoing efforts to strengthen traditional institutions and preserve cultural values.
As construction progresses, residents of Aleibiri and surrounding communities have lauded the initiative as a reflection of purposeful and results-driven representation.
