National News – Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa will face off in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup after winning Europe’s top club competitions this season.

UEFA confirmed that the prestigious match will take place on August 12, 2026, at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria.

The annual UEFA Super Cup brings together the winners of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

This year’s edition will see French champions PSG take on English side Aston Villa in a highly anticipated clash between two European trophy holders.

PSG secured their place in the competition after successfully defending their UEFA Champions League title.

The French club, managed by Luis Enrique, defeated Arsenal 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final played on Saturday.
