More than 30,000 Niger Delta ex-agitators have come out in a massive show of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the official flag-off of the P-BAT Door-2-Door Movement, championed by Niger Delta leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, was held in Bayelsa State and other parts of the country on Wednesday.
The historic mobilisation brought together ex-agitators and supporters from across the Niger Delta and other parts of the country, signalling a strong grassroots commitment to the President’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking to journalists at the venue, Convener of the Niger Delta Ex-Agitators Forum, self-styled General Emma Satu, said the unprecedented turnout demonstrated the resolve of Niger Delta ex-agitators to actively participate in the campaign for President Tinubu’s second term.
Satu had led the ex-agitators on the marathon solidarity march through major areas of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, passing through strategic locations, including the popular Berger Roundabout, before converging at the Ox-Bow Lake Pavilion, venue of the official flag-off.
He said the ex-agitators had fully embraced the Renewed Hope Agenda and were determined to take the P-BAT message directly to Nigerians at the grassroots.
He described the official flag-off as the beginning of a wider door-to-door campaign that would see supporters move into communities, homes and neighbourhoods across the Niger Delta and other parts of Nigeria.
“We are fully behind the Renewed Hope Agenda, and we are committed to ensuring that President Bola Tinubu is returned in 2027. This is not just about coming out for a rally. We are going from door to door and community to community to take the message of P-BAT to Nigerians,” Satu said.
He urged all Niger Deltans to take ownership of the movement and ensure that the campaign reaches the remotest communities in the region.
According to him, the door-to-door strategy would allow supporters to engage directly with Nigerians, explain the achievements of the Tinubu administration and encourage voters to support continuity in 2027.
Satu said the P-BAT Door-2-Door Movement being championed by Tompolo and the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro, represented the way forward for the Niger Delta.
He commended Tompolo for providing leadership for the movement, describing the initiative as an opportunity for ex-agitators to channel their influence and grassroots networks into democratic participation and support for national development.

The NDEF Convener also praised Otuaro for what he described as his unwavering commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through the effective management of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
He said the programme under Otuaro had continued to provide opportunities for Niger Delta ex-agitators and other beneficiaries to improve their lives through education, skills acquisition and human-capital development.
Satu maintained that the benefits of the Amnesty Programme went beyond immediate financial support, arguing that education and empowerment provided beneficiaries with the tools to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider Nigerian society.
He said President Tinubu had laid the foundation for a greater Nigeria and deserved another term to consolidate the achievements of his administration.
“President Bola Tinubu has laid the foundation for a greater Nigeria. He needs to be re-elected so that he can consolidate on the good works his administration has started. Nigerians should not be confused by sweet talks from opposition politicians,” he said.
The official flag-off of the P-BAT Door-2-Door Movement marks the beginning of an extensive grassroots campaign across the Niger Delta and other parts of Nigeria.
The event was not merely a political gathering but a public declaration of their support for continuity, peace, empowerment and the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
